You wouldn’t have thought it, would you? That Liam Neeson would become the go-to guy for bad-assery. He was meant to be a proper ac-tor, not some action icon destroying all that’s in his path. But hey, I for one am pleased. We get a hero who can emote and Liam gets star in films like The Grey.

So, it’s Alive with added wolves. Awesome. Directed by Joe Carnahan, who worked with Neeson on the silly but enjoyable A-Team, The Grey looks hella fun. If you can’t get excited by the thought of Liam Neeson taking down a pack of wolves armed only with a pair of glass-covered fists, then you’re no friend of mine.

The Grey is due for release in the US on January 27th and here in the UK? Who knows. Let’s hope it’s not too long a wait.
