News: 20+ New Pics From The Avengers

What’s better than one new picture from The Avengers? Twenty three new pics from The Avengers, that’s what! Starting with a very serious Scarlett Johansson above as Black Widow, we’ll take a look at some of the sets and all the stars. So sit back, relax, and let me be your guide.

The armoury. You can see Captain America’s uniform to the left. Okay, so I’m not going to lie to you. Some of the pics we’re starting out with aren’t the most interesting shots you’ll ever see but they get better. Promise.

Not yet, though. Here are some computer screens that may or may not be aboard the helicarrier. Exciting, huh?

This IS onboard the helicarrier, as it’s the hangar where aircraft like the quinjet are kept.

Yay! That’s better! A surly looking Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) tugs on some rope. Maybe he’s wondering why he’s in this franchise now he has The Bourne Legacy and Mission Impossible on the go.

And back to the set pics. I’m not sure where this is. Is it Bruce Banner’s lab? The infirmary? The Hulk containment unit? Who can say. Well, the set designer, probably.

Here’s Tony Stark’s armoury with the Iron Man suit obvs. Notice the triangle arc reactor in the centre. Joss Whedon has said he think it’s “ass” and we’ll see a return of the classic circle reactor at some point during the movie.

Thor (Chris Hemsworth). Mjolnir. ’nuff said.

Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) looking bad-ass on the bridge of the helicarrier. Shit will go down.

Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) this time trying not to moan about his lack of screen time in the trailer.

Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) works on some fancy science device like what scientists do! I wonder if it’ll help The Avengers against Loki and his army?

Bruce Banner is smiling! That’s good. Nothing happens when he’s happy, only when he’s angry…

Yeah! Tom Hiddleston’s Loki looking frickin’ awesome. This guy is gonna mess Earth up.

Aw, I love Jeremy Renner really. Just suffering a bit of fatigue because he seems to be in EVERYTHING at the moment. Looking forward to see Hawkeye in action, though.

Captain Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) looking good.

Captain America, defending the people. Yup, I like that.

And I like the pic even more. I think it’s my fave of the set (except for the last, maybe. Stick around for that). The Sentinel of Liberty surveys the destruction. It’s not too… 9/11-ey, is it?

Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) looks concerned. Or pissed. Or both.

Thor also looks concerned. And sexy. Look, there’s Maria Hill (Cobie Smuthers) behind him taking a call on her hands free bluetooth headset.

Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) looks pissed too. And pissed (you know, the drunk one).

Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson), pouting and chesty.

For our penultimate pic we have Tom Hiddleston rocking the Asgardian armour, horns and all. Can I be the first to suggest the meme “KNEEL BEFORE LOKI”?
