News: Epic New IMAX Banner Posters For The Dark Knight Rises
You may remember I wasn’t very kind about the latest The Dark Knight Rises poster. It looks like a fan-made mash-up of the teaser poster and the “Welcome To A World Without Rules” from The Dark Knight. But that’s enough of my moaning because with a series of new banner posters promoting the IMAX release of the film,Warner Bros. have excited me again. Let’s take a look.
Yeah, that’s more like it! Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) taking shit out with the Batpod. Is that a tumbling Tumbler I spy in flames behind her?
And it get’s even better. An almost iconic shot of Batman (Christian Bale) stood atop of a police car, about to lead the GCPD into battle against…
… Bane (Tom Hardy) and his army. I count three Tumblers (one hidden behind the the Bat-logo) and you can see Bane’s truck in the background. These two pics show the scale of Nolan’s film. It’s gonna be HUGE.
Batman and Bane face off in the midst of a greater battle between the GCPD and Bane’s army. It look like the whole of Gotham goes to war in Christopher Nolan’s final part of his Dark Knight trilogy. Awesome.
The Dark Knight Rises hits screens worldwide on the 20th July.
