Jeremy Renner is having a hell of a year – He saw it in with Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, owned it by being a member of The Avengers, and will end the summer as Matt Damon’s replacement in The Bourne Legacy. Even Liam Neeson will have a problem topping that line-up and he’s in virtually everything. The question is, though, why should we care about the new Bourne film? It’s certainly what I thought. But you’d be wrong. Director Joe Carnahan delivers a film that’s a hell of a lot more thoughtful and considered.
