Wes Anderson may have only just released Moonrise Kingdom to the world but he’s already thinking of his next project – The Grand Budapest Hotel. Aside from the title, Anderson has revealed little about the film itself, save for a dream cast wishlist.

 

First and probably biggest name on the list is Mr Johnny Depp. And you know what? Anderson has got him. Depp has signed on to which should be his next feature after Disney’s The Lone Ranger. So, who else does Wes want? It’s the usual suspects - Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, Edward Norton, Jude Law, Jeff Goldblum, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe and Angela Lansbury. Yes, you read that correctly, Murder She Wrote‘s Jessica Fletcher herself, Angela Lansbury. If he gets half the cast he wants, it should be a brilliant picture.

No word on release for The Grand Budapest Hotel yet, obvs, but you can still catch Moonrise Kingdom on screens around the country.
