Tony Scott, brother of Ridley and the director of innumerable brilliant movies, apparently committed suicide last night. Reports say he ‘leapt without hesitation’ from a bridge in San Pedro, LA. A note was said to be left at the 69 year-old’s office. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.

I can think of no better tribute to the man than to list his movies here. Ask yourself how many you’ve seen and how many you’ve enjoyed. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s nearly all of them.
