Posted in Movies, News with tags Brian De Palma, Carlito's Way, Mission Impossible, Noomi Rapace, Passion, Paul Anderson, Rachel McAdams on August 22, 2012 by Bjorn Grainger
I talked about Brian De Palma’s Passion a few months back. I said that my only interest in this was due to the involvement of Noomi Rapace. That pretty much still stands. I mean, when was the last time De Palma made a really watchable movie? Mission Impossible? Carlito’s Way? Still, it might all come good with Passion, it’s not as if the synopsis describes it as an erotic thriller… Oh. Anyway, let’s take a look at these high quality pics, shall we? They are super clickable. CLICK THEM.

Firstly, check out this IMAX poster that has a very cool retro/70s look to it. Review: Prometheus
Posted in Movie Review, Movies with tags Alien, Blade Runner, Charlie Holloway, Charlize Theron, Damon Lindelof, David, Dr Elizabeth Shaw, Idris Elba, James Spaihts, Janek, Lawrence Of Arabia, Logan Marshall-Green, Meredith Vickers, Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Peter O'Toole, Prometheus, Ridley Scott, Ripley on June 5, 2012 by Bjorn GraingerI know nearly every review for the film will make mention of this so I’m going to get it out of the way at the start – Prometheus sees Ridley Scott’s long-awaited return to sci-fi, a genre where he made such stone-cold classics as Alien and Blade Runner. Can Prometheus possibly live up to such a lofty billing, or will it be fanboy crushing damp squib like a certain Phantom Menace? Read on and find out.

Posted in Movies, News with tags Aliens, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green, Meredith Vickers, Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Paul Reiser, Prometheus, Ridley Scott, Weyland Industries on May 25, 2012 by Bjorn GraingerI’d love to offer up a brilliant insightful clip that defines the potential brilliance of Ridley Scott’s latest film, Prometheus, but all I have is a slight puff-piece on Charlize Theron’s character Meredith Vickers. Will that do? It’ll have to. Read more »
News: Massively Spoilerific New Prometheus Poster
Posted in Movies, Poster with tags Alien, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green, Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, Prometheus, Ridley Scott, Space Jockey on May 18, 2012 by Bjorn GraingerThis not the new Prometheus poster, by the way. This is the teaser poster from before Christmas when the marketing for the film was still going for the subtle and mysterious, not the “let’s show them EVERYTHING so there’s no drama or surprises left when they go to the cinema to see it” we’re getting now. Maybe, just maybe, we’re not being shown everything and Ridley Scott’s return to sci-fi will shock and surprise like his original Alien did. We live in hope.

I probably would have zero interest in Brian De Palma’s latest feature, Passion, if it wasn’t for Noomi Rapace starring in it. It’s totally unprofessional to reveal so, but I have a massive crush on Ms Rapace. I just think she’s… awesome. Anyway, we’ve gotten ahold of some brand new pics from the film and it’s probably a good idea if we checked them out. Read more »
